Real Energy All Day

In out busy and hectic lifestyles, most of us will resort to consuming processed food and/or food that has been stored for a long period. We may be unable to regulary consume fresh fruits, vegetables and wholegrains on a daily basis due to various reasons. In addition, we are faced with physiological stress in our daily roles and responsibilities. All these contribute to the lack of essential nutrients from which we derive the energy and vitality we need.
Unlock your cellular energy sotes with ATP-generating B vitamin and concentrates from apples, alfalfa, and acerola cherry. Now you can power up and move past the competition.
How B Vitamins and Plant Concentrates Unlock Cellular Energy Stores?
The human body is not able to synthesise complex structures of carbohydrates or lipids into an energy source. As a result, additional nutrients such as the B vitamins that contains coenzymes or ATP are needed for the synthesis of complex structures into energy source. Coenzymes are small organic non-protein molecules that carry chemical groups between enzymes. ATP is non-vitamin coenzymes.
B vitamins are essentials in catalyzing chemical reactions in the human body. This is done by seeing that the coenzymes catalyze the realease of glucosa stored in the muscle as glycogen. In addition, coenzymes also help in generating glucose from amino acids through the glyconeogenesis process.
Some natural plant products can help the body adapt to stress. These types of nutritional products are called adaptogens. One measure of an adaptogen is the formation of ATP, the main energy molecule of the body. ATP provides the energy needed to carry out normal bodily functions. The healthy benefits of a diet rich in fruits and vegetables have been widely accepted. Laboratory tests have shown that plant concentrates increase energy level, which in turn helps the body adapt to stress such as anxiety, fatigue, and trauma.

Plant Concetrates - The Heart of Our Value

Phytonutrients are also referred to as phytochemicals. Phytonutrients are natural, bioactive compounds derived from plant sources. They are neither vitamins nor minerals. Phytonutrients are compounds concentrated in the skins of many vegetables and fruits along with accountable colour, hue, scent and flavour.

They are non-nutritive plant chemicals that have a valuable effect on disease prevention. Their role in plants is to protect the plants from diseases, insercts, excessive heat, and UV rays in addition to pollutants in the air and soil. In other words, phytonutrients are part of the plants' immune system.

Why Are Phytonutrients Important?

Phytonutrients have been indentified as containing properties that have beneficial effects on health. One of the most important roles of phytonutrients if functioning as antioxidants which are able to neutralise free radicals. Phytonutrients also help in strengthening our body's immune response.

Phytonutrients such as carotenoids and flavonoids act like a protective armour to keep invading pollutants and germs from entering cells. In addition, phytonutrients protect body cells from cellular damage. They help cells repair themselves by stimulating the release of protective enzymes that rebuil damaged cells.

NUTRILITE: The Best of Both Nature and Science

Nutrilite Health Institute scientists continuously evaluate and test plant concentrates for nutrient content. We screened over 200 different plant concentrates in a range of bio-assays; those that performed best and had strong scientific support for their use were chosen for our products. Based on the screening, there are 17 and more concentrates that had been identified to have broad health benefits and they are grouped into 3 categories:

Protective enzyme - kale, asparagus, rosemary, oregano, broccoli, pomegrante, sage

Supports the body's natural response to cellular damage

- blueberry, grape skin, oregano, cranberry, pomegranate, rosemary

Free radical protection - acerola cherry, tomato, marigold, citrus bioflavonoids, kale,

alfalfa, apple, asparagus, blueberry, grape skin, oregano, cranberry, pomegranate, rosemary,

sage, prune

Why Take Multi?

The pace at which we live our lives and the demands of an increasingly hectic lifestyle can chip away at our best for a healthier diet. Healthy diet can go along way in giving the stamina, energy and lasting health we require to keep with life and achieve our goals.

Why Take Multi?
Most individuals face a variety of nutrition challenges everyday where they are unable to:
* eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and wholegrains.
* eat enough plant-based foods for good health
(according to global health surveys).
* limit the intake of foods containing unhealthy fats and sugars.

It goes without saying that nothing can substitute for vitamins, minerals, fibre and other nutrients available whole foods. But when you can't or don't eat what we should, there's a way to add the nutrients we need. In 2002, a report in the leading medical journal, JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) recommends that all adults take a multivitamin as one way to ensure an adequate intake of important vitamins and minerals.

What is Missing in Your Multi?

Many multivitamins offer the standard arrays of vitamins and minerals, many at 100% of take Recommended Daily Intake (RDI). But what makes a multi different? The answer is plant concentrates.

Whereas nutritient quantity has been the primary focus
in the past i.e. health authorities around the world have
established minimum requirements for vitamins and minerals,
proteins, carbohydrates and fats, nutrient quality is
increasingly recognised as playing a key role in
maintaining good health. Researchers now recognise the
importance of phytonutrients - the nutrients found in
plant-delived foods.

Many studies point to inadequate intake of plant-based foods as the most significant shortfall in good nutrition. As it is difficult to ensure that an individual always obtains a rich variety of plant-based foods consistently, plant-based nutritional supplements are created to help people fill the gaps in their diets to restore balance.
